And so begins my annual attempt at my Harry Potter re-read. Now, I can't just pick up, say, Order of the Phoenix and read it out of the blue. No. I have to work my way up to that book because I'm weird like that. And I've been meaning to re-read Deathly Hallows for a couple of years now, but just haven't worked my way up that far yet. I got Tales of Beedle the Bard today!

I seriously love it, and kinda wish I had grown up with these fairy tales.

I had also ordered the Collector's Edition from Amazon (what? I get a pretty book and the money goes to charity. Or at least that's how I rationalized it). I can't wait to get my hands on that one...

So today marks the seventh year anniversary of me becoming hooked on the Harry Potter series. I had finished Prisoner of Azkaban in the wee hours of the morning, took a moment to just look at it and go, "Wow" and immediately began on Goblet of Fire. In that moment, I was hooked. Earlier tonight I went to a wrock concert in Columbus. Tom Riddle and Friends, JFF, and Whompy all played sets and were amazing. I hadn't seen TRaF since Easter, so it was awesome to see them again (they're seriously hilarious. I love them).
